Hey gang, I've got an usual problem and I'm at my wit's end. I have a 32" CRT TV, about 3-4 years old. My TV volume keeps turning all the way down by itself. I'll be watching the tube or playing a game when, suddently, the voilume bar pops up and I watch it turn down to 0. Take the remote, turn it back up, let go of the button, it goes back down.

Jan 04, 2015 · No, it's not inadequate, w/DVR set at 25, my TV can blast it out. I normally use only 16-22 on the TV for the volume I need and my TV settings go all the way up to 100, so the DVR is providing plenty of volume. Sounds like you lost the code for your TV, go here to program the remote for volume control: From your Apple TV home screen, select Settings.. Select Audio and Video.. Select Dolby.. Select Auto to enable surround sound.. Try Netflix again. If you're still getting low volume, repeat steps 1-3 and then select Off to disable Dolby, then try Netflix again. It solved the problem. The only issue seems to be that I need to manually turn the volume off on the TV because Anynet used to turn the TV volume off automatically when I used my AV receiver.
